How Much are Surrogates Paid?

Magic Journeys offers industry-leading surrogacy compensation packages up to $70,000 for first time surrogates. We have a payment match program to guarantee your best gain. The compensation differs based on employment status and residential state.

Some Requirements to be a Surrogate.

To become a surrogate requires time, energy and commitment. Personal health, lifestyle and financial stability are crucial during the process. Below are some basic requirements.

• No health conditions that can be exacerbated by pregnancy
• Have had at least one healthy pregnancy and delivery
• Have a BMI below 30
• No tobacco use; no drugs abuse; no alcohol abuse
• Financially stable
• Reside in a state with favorable surrogacy laws

Steps to become a Surrogate Mother.

Step 1: Check to see if you are eligible

Step 2: Submit the Application

Once you’ve met the basic health, lifestyle and financial criteria, you will be able to start the full application. Our admission team will review your initial application and contact you as soon as possible. You may be asked for some additional questions, and a consultation session will be arranged.

Step 3: New Surrogate Consultation

Next, you will have a phone consultation with a surrogate admission specialist. During the consultation, you will be familiarized with the process, ask any questions you have. We will get to know you as well, and guide you through the next steps.

Step 4: Information Verification

All the paperwork will be verified and evaluated, including medical records on all previous pregnancies, identity documents, and financial records. No sweat, your admission specialist will walk you through the entire process with ease.

Step 5: Preparation for Your Match

A series of preparations is needed to achieve the best match. Everything is online, over the phone, or through video conferencing meetings for a convenient and simplified process. During this time, our matching team will be working diligently in finding you the most respectful and loving intended parents to match your preference.

Step 6: Matching with Intended Parents

We respect your preferences wholeheartedly, and will only release your information if you think the intended parents are suitable. Your case manager will schedule a video conferencing meeting for you and the intended parents once everyone agrees to meet.
Our intended parents are from all over the world, so we always ensure to prepare our surrogates by educating them about the cultures and traditions of the intended parents and vice versa to boost the chance of matching. After you and the intended parents confirm the match, it is onto the medical process.

Step 7: Welcome to the Magic Journeys Family

You are now a member of us! We will guide you through the rest of the surrogate cycle, and help you out with any issues you may have – your surrogacy journey or your life.

What happens after being matched with intended parents?

The real fun begins now – the medical process for the gestational surrogacy.
· Medical Screening with an IVF physician including a physical examination, uterine ultrasound, and blood draw, etc. This could happen within two months after the application. All your travel expenses because of it (including your partner) will be covered.
· Legal procedures: Once medically cleared, the legal phase starts. We will guide you through the contract signing process with the intended parents.
· Getting Pregnant: We try our best to make the process simple and smooth. All medications will be shipped to you with detailed instructions. You will be able to set up local monitoring appointments, saving all the fuss of traveling at this stage. All travel expenses for you and your companion to the IVF clinic for the embryo transfer are covered. To show our appreciation, you will be able to rest at your hotel for 1-2 days after the embryo transfer.
· Pregnancy and Delivery: The first pregnancy test will take place approximately 10-12 days after the embryo transfer. To ensure you get all the care you deserve, dedicated case managers will be there for you along the way – from appointment reminders to payment arrangements. You will never be alone medically, legally, and emotionally. You are also more than welcome to join our secure social media group to share your feelings, concerns, and stories. At around 10-12 weeks of pregnancy, you’ll be released to your personal obstetrician. We will have a detailed delivery plan ready for you to ensure smooth delivery.
